TAMPA, Florida – The Tampa Police Department is investigating a tense moment between a driver and a protester on Saturday evening.
At around 6:30 p.m., according to the TPD, a driver tried to get through a crowd of demonstrators near the 2100 block on West Swann Avenue. The driver claims that demonstrators have crowded around his car, broken his windshield and a protester jumped on the hood of his car, according to the TPD.
The driver then drove off with the demonstrator on the hood.
TPD later arrested the protester. The police are currently investigating cell phone videos of the incident.
