In this role, Mr. Nichols from the Concierge will assist business owners and businesses in navigating between business development, capital and government relationships.
About Steve Nichols
Mr. Nichols is an experienced consultant and lobbyist with extensive experience in government relations and expertise in all areas of insurance and healthcare.
For the past 21 years, 19 years, he has been with the Insurance Council of Texas, representing insurance carriers and claims managers on complex issues related to insurance supervision. Mr. Nichols was also a member of the Texas Workers’ Compensation Commission for 10 years. He has used his broad relationships within the insurance and government sectors to shape a wide range of regulations and issues.
Mr. Nichols has formed and coordinated coalitions on a wide range of insurance issues and has been shown to successfully stand up for his customers and partners. He also publishes the news magazine Sentinel Reporter, which reports on developments that have an impact on the insurance industry and insurance markets around the world. Mr. Nichols graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor in Politics and Government. He served in the U.S. military and withdrew from the U.S. Army and Navy reserves at the age of 27.
