Tonight I received confirmation that both President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
The President and First Lady are fine at this point, and they plan to stay home at the White House during their recovery.
The White House medical team and I will be vigilant, and I appreciate the support of some of the greatest medical professionals and institutions in our country.
Rest assured, I expect the President to continue to perform his duties uninterruptedly during recovery and I will keep you informed of future developments.
