MIAMI – Potential tropical cyclone 26 has formed in the Caribbean, said the National Hurricane Center (NHC).
According to the NHC 5:00 p.m. Sunday update, the system is approximately 90 miles south of Kingston, Jamaica, with winds of 35 miles per hour. The system also moves from west to northwest at 10 miles per hour.
The system is expected to turn into a tropical storm this week, the NHC said.
