TAMPA, Florida – The University of South Florida announced that the school is optimizing its academic calendar following the coronavirus pandemic.
USF announced that the school will move the spring break from its original March 15th to March 21st April 12th to 18th. USF stated in a press release that the new data will allow USF to “remotely deliver classes and exams for the last two weeks”.
“The University of South Florida continues to value the health and well-being of our university community as we develop plans for the spring semester,” said USF President Steve Currall in a press release. “We continue to strive to make evidence-based decisions that support academic continuity and a safe environment for student and faculty success.”
USF said these changes won’t affect the first and last dates of the school’s spring semester.
