CNBCs Jim Cramer Nine stock games were set up on Monday, which can be successful regardless of which candidate wins the presidential election on Tuesday.
“Any of these names would work under either candidate.”Bad money“Host said.” You are a Covid winner and Covid will be with us no matter who wins tomorrow. “
Cramer made the recommendations based on former Vice President Joe Biden’s chances of being elected to the White House and introducing more aggressive national standards to combat the spread of the coronavirus in America. President Donald Trump, who has lagged his challenger in most polls on the battlefield, has spoken out in favor of a full reopening of the country despite the ongoing pandemic.
While a nationwide economic lockdown is unlikely, a “partial lockdown” is a real possibility that could lead to bar closings and further restrictions on restaurants, said Cramer, looking down the street. He also considered the chances of a national mask mandate.
Below are his views on several companies he believes are poised for an uncertain future in the fight against the coronavirus:
“If you go through the final quarter, Amazon said its goal is to spend all of its fourth quarter revenue on security. They made a big bet that we will have a tough winter,” Cramer said. “If Covid cases keep rising … Amazon will be ready, which means their supply chains will stay intact.”
“Chipotle is the only chain restaurant with a comprehensive plan to deal with this new wave of infections,” he said. “These people found that without indoor dining, they could make just as much money by investing heavily in take-out and delivery.”
The pizza chain “initially had little indoor presence. It’s all delivery,” or take-away, said Cramer.
“They have prepared for Biden or Trump. Even if we are completely banned again, they can remain open like in the spring because they are seen as essential,” he said.
“If a Biden administration decides to spend a lot more money on tests, they want to own one of the test games,” said the host.
“Everyone buys more Clorox when the infections increase,” he said.
“Estee Lauder is surprisingly important right now because masks cause acne to so many people,” said Cramer.
