Peloton announced a multi-year partnership with singer-songwriter Beyonce on Tuesday to use her music to produce exclusive content for the streamed training courses.
The exercise company has not disclosed the financial terms of the deal.
“Beyonce and Peloton worked closely to create a range of themed workout experiences … across a variety of fitness categories including indoor cycling, running, strength, bootcamp, yoga and meditation,” Peloton said in a press release.
The Peloton share gained 3% in premarket trading. At the close of trading on Monday, the stock rose more than 252% that year, bringing market capitalization to $ 29.1 billion.
Beyonce will continue to work with Peloton on “various forms of class curation” over the coming months.
Beyonce is the most sought-after artist in Peloton’s global community of more than 3.6 million members.
“Peloton and I both believe the power of music can help uplift, motivate, and inspire those on their fitness journeys,” Beyonce said in a statement. “I’ve been a peloton member for several years.”
