Dow share Coke rose modestly in the pre-market after the beverage giant reported Monday morning better than expected quarterly results and sales. According to Coca-Cola, demand in the first quarter was flat year-on-year as North America and Western Europe take longer to recover from the coronavirus pandemic.

Bitcoin fell to nearly $ 52,000 on Sunday morning, days after hitting an all-time high near $ 65,000 in a wild trading weekend. Bitcoin rose slightly to around $ 56,000 early Monday. GameStop rose 8% to around $ 167 per share in premarket trading after the video game retailer announced on Monday to CEO George Sherman will resign. The board is looking for a successor. It’s the biggest shake since Ryan Cohen, co-founder of the online pet supplier Tough, joined the GameStop board in January. Cohen, who is slated to become chairman in June, invested in GameStop last year to encourage the company to focus on online sales and close unprofitable stores in malls. Cohen’s involvement with GameStop helped kickstart the stock’s wild ride earlier this year.

Police are investigating the crash of a 2019 Tesla Model S Saturday night in Spring, Texas – north of Houston – it appears that no one was in the driver’s seat when the vehicle slammed into a tree and went up in flames, killing the two men inside. Police told the New York Times that a few minutes before the accident, the men’s wives heard them say they wanted to take a ride and talk about the car’s autopilot. Shares of Peloton fell 7% on the pre-market Monday after the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on Saturday that consumers should no longer use the Peloton Tread + treadmill when small children or pets are around.
