The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated masking guidelines Marking a significant shift in the pandemic, the dean of Brown University’s School of Public Health said Thursday.
“Basically, it is recognized that vaccinated people will go back to normal and be able to do most of the things we did before the pandemic, and this is really, really great news,” said Dr. Ashish Jha.
The new CDC rules state that fully vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear a face mask or stay 6 feet away from others in most outdoor or indoor areas.
