NEW YORK (Reuters) – Customer spending on JPMorgan Chase & Co credit cards increased 17% in May over the same period in 2019, the bank’s co-president Gordon Smith said Thursday.
The surge in credit card spending should see credit grow modestly through the end of the year, Smith said.
